FST marks AccessAbility Week
May 28, 2026
Family Service Toronto is pleased to join individuals, communities and other workplaces that are actively working to remove barriers to accessibility and inclusion during National AccessAbility Week, from May 31 to June 6.
This special week is dedicated to celebrating the valuable contributions and leadership of Canadians with disabilities, as well as promoting efforts to increase accessibility and inclusion across the country.
As an agency, we believe that all Canadians have a role in ensuring we are creating supportive, inclusive and accessible public services and spaces.
Follow us on our social media channels during the week to learn how Family Service Toronto is celebrating and continuing to learn about accessibility.
On June 3, FST will participate and share our support of Red Shirt Day with a staff photo. Red Shirt Day started in 2019, organized by Easter Seals, to have a visible display of solidarity and support for all living with a disability and their families/support systems. We wear red shirts to demonstrate our commitment to improving accessibility in our communities.
