Services during COVID 19

Effective April 1, 2020, temporary changes have been made for recipients of direct funding under the Special Services at Home (SSAH) and Passport programs. Please go to the Developmental Services Ontario for more information. For French speakers go to Service de’l Ontario pur des adultes ayant une déficience intellectuelle.

PassportONE updates during the COVID-19 pandemic are available at FST Services During COVID-19.

PassportONE was created by the Ontario government and Passport agencies to improve the Passport Service experience by making invoice processing and reimbursements faster and more efficient.  This new approach to Passport payment processing includes consolidating the back office financial functions associated with Passport into a newly created agency called PassportONE.

Your local Passport agency will continue to be your point of contact for the Passport program. However, with the implementation of PassportONE, all invoices and receipts submitted for reimbursement will be sent to PassportONE for payment. Your Passport coordinator will contact you to explain how these changes will affect you.

What is PassportONE?

Family Service Toronto has been selected by the Ministry of Children, Community and Social Services (MCCSS) through an open and transparent selection process to administer PassportONE for all Passport clients across the province.

When will the change begin?

PassportONE is being implemented across the province in four phases that began in May 2018. FST transitioned to the new system in May 2018.

What will change with PassportONE?

Invoices and receipts can be submitted at any time during a fiscal year;

Reimbursements will be processed faster; and
Passport agencies will be able to spend more time helping you find needed services and supports.
